I thought when I started Knitting thru the "itty bittys" that I would also start dropping the pounds. You figure with yarn and needles occupying your hands, there would be no time to snack. After all, most finger foods have either crumbs, moisture, oils, or staining agents. YEAH RIGHT! Isn't it funny how we can find foods that are easy to eat without leaving any residue? I would list those foods, but, I don't want to encourage anyone to eat and knit like I did. That's right, I said "like I DID". I have been on Weight Watchers for 4 weeks and tonight, when I weighed in, I am down a total of 20.8 pounds. YIPPEE!!!! I have a long way to go, but, I am on the right track. In a few weeks I will post photos of before and now. In the meantime, here is a photo of a great tree in my neighborhood. It is a very loving tree. It is hugging itself.
Oh, one more thing. Just started reading a book, Abraham Lincoln, Vampire Killer by Seth Grahame-Smith. It grabs you from the beginning. Don't be alarmed. This book isn't taking me away from my knitting. I read it in the tub. Don't tell my son. It is his hardcover book. I have been known to drift off in the tub and come to, only to find my book floating in the water. Of course if I ruin his book I will buy him a new one.

Woah! Over 20 lbs. down?!?! That is fantastic. I am very proud of you.
I will have to remember this book. I am an avid reader and always looking for a new good read.
And, best of luck finishing that blanket!
That is fantastic. 20 pounds is not easy. I know. I´ve dropped 36 pounds in the past and I need to do it again.
I hope the border gets easier for you.
Thank you ladies for the encouragement. I really helps. Losing the weight is no big deal. THE BORDER IS A NIGHTMARE!!!!!!
